Parler is a Twitter clone.
Yeah, it’s not as famous as Twitter in many parts of the world.
But apparently, Parler has played an important rule on what happened during the #StormTheCapitol attack in 2021, where supporters of Donald Trump gather together to the Capitol because Joe Biden won the election.
But soon, we will change the statement. Parler would not become a Twitter clone anymore. Instead, Twitter will become a clone of Parler.
Hatred with Musk? Check. Fed up with algorithms? Check. Paid Indonesian political buzzers everywhere? Check.
I just don’t have any more words for this. But I agree:
Do all the people on Twitter using the platform to complain about Elon ad nauseum not understand that if they left the platform and stopped engaging, it would turn into Parler, lose its advertisers and die? It’s just a private app that monetizes off of engagement. So don’t engage.

Reading some notes back from our previous Twitter announcement, we argue that the Verified-fueled scandal and plans to remove everyone who doesn’t afford $8/mo is just the beginning. Now, we’d like to continue expressing our concern on this blog post—only if you pay $8/month.
If you’ve subscribed to $8/mo color thing…
Congratulations! On behalf of the Musk Company, we would like to thank you for sucking your wallets to us for that important blue check mark and more.
You can now pretend as if you’re important on the Internet because, indeed, we’re starting to discriminate people like you against bots, fake accounts, and everyone who just complained the high price tag to us, even though they mind spending the same amount to Starbucks every day.
But liberalism doesn’t just stand there. Starting January 1, 2026, we would like to increase the obligatory fee from $8 to $39.99 because the United States government, which is currently led by someone our CEO dislikes, have been caught cheating by printing lots and lots of more money. It’s inflation, and it’s all the federal government’s fault. And it’s our right to charge more.
And if you can’t afford it, we’ll kick you out the same way as those bots and poor people. We don’t care and it’ll be your fault.
Oh, right, and for someone with the username @POTUS, we would like to require you to pay an inflated price of $902,302,012 per month, or else we’ll ban you from our platform. No need to ask why the huge price, our CEO hates you for not supporting child abortion and free sex.
Sure, that one could be made up. But considering Musk’s general attitude, we’re pretty sure that the company would end up this way.
Personal ego and greed are more threatening than the Big Tech itself. Combine the three, and a Cyberpunk-level of slavery will come.
So, if you care about yourself, your digital life, even if you’re from Indonesia, let’s leave the platform immediately for good.
Anyone using Indonesia’s Telkomsel, Indosat, and XL got blocked by Twitter on Sunday (and some through Monday) because their algorithm that’s meant to block bots ended up blocking major telcos across the planet, three major Indonesian telcos included.

Update 1
Some people pointed out that the “Prosecute/Fauci” on the featured Tweet refers to Musk’s opposition to doctor Anthony Fauci in relation to the Trump-era US’ mistreatment of the COVID-19 pandemic.
