Consider this—the next Army of God Conference hype starts to build up, and we are very, very excited to see that it blatantly copy the aesthetics of a certain K-Pop girl group band?
At the same time, we are also see that aespa is moving away from the “narrative” that we, too are investigating. Whether itʼs about certain groups befriending with cyber clones to become super-cyber-heroes. Thatʼs the same story that we had in The Bearers of the Shells aka. BOTS, right?
Or, a certain corporate effort that profiles everyone to make digital clones and benefit them by turning them into superstars. In other words and worlds, thatʼs definitely surveillance capitalism.
Lord over lore.
Look, in Genesis 11: The Tower of Babel, God prescribed His Word thatʼs both great and dangerous at the same time:
[5] But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower the people were building. [6] The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. [7] Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”
Genesis 11:5-7 NIV
Itʼs great because we are meant to collaborate with each other, but itʼs dangerous because God witnesses the pure work of a human: a great city with a great tower that is intentionally built to touch the heavens.
Not to mention the kind of mortar that is waterproof, so they intentionally built this whole waterproof tower to prevent the next Great Flood to destroy them?
Perhaps the biggest blunder of all time is Godʼs decision to just confuse the human languages instead of prescribing a new Word that humans will never be able to collaborate with each other, forever. God exactly knows that His decision is just a temporary solution.
Because why? How many of you are able to listen, speak, read, write English? Today, billions of people are united in the English-speaking community. If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them!
And thatʼs why the next Army of God Conference will be different. Not just about the mission of “buulding churches in our youth,” but also embracing the Godʼs vision to the young community—something that will be discussed like never before.
The theme clearly says “Divine Blueprints, Guiding Dreams: Your Fate Unfolds in God-Given Visions.” This is definitely more than just about winning schools and campuses for God, because His blueprint extends until the end of these peopleʼs lives. Itʼs about the mission of the lifetime, not for a little bit of their life in schools and campuses.
I honestly want to point a couple of specific Word of God: Matthew 25:21 and Revelation 3:20-21. Iʼll discuss the first one here.
The other one is also important, but I want you to read Revelation 3:20-21 it yourself: an amazing promise that very few people can only achieve because not everyone kniws that this verse exists!
There are greater things to work in the afterlife!
The parable of the bags of gold (Matthew 25:14-30) provides us a hint that if we are faithful and excellent enough in doing small things, God will give you greater things or responsibilities. And if we did that faithfully and excellently, God will give us a greater one.
“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a man going on a long trip. He called together his servants and entrusted his money to them while he was gone.
Matthew 25:14 NLT
The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together! ’
Matthew 25:21 NLT
It is clearly written that this is a parable about the kingdom of heaven, about how God considers every human eligible to enter His kingdom of heaven. However, not every people who read the Bible understood that, when God let those two good, faithful servants to celebrate together with their master (which means entering the heaven), they are not done yet with their newly-assigned, greated responsibilities entrusted by God Himself on the heaven.
After all, who wants to deny from working in His kingdom, if in His kingdom we can no longer be numb and lazy, because every spirit of numbness and laziness is thrown away from the heaven, and we have seen multiple times this is mentioned in the Bible.
This could mean, and I hope it could mean, God intentionally created us to work on earth as a practice, so when we were passed into the afterlife, we are assigned to do great things in the kingdom of heaven!
